RANIA NUUR BINTI EDRE: The Arrival. part 2

The first 1 week with Rania was tough.
Walaupun hubby cuti 1 minggu, the whole week was not for us to settle down and rest at home.
Rania came home on day 2 of life, only to come back to the hospital on day 3 because of very low degree fever and jaundice.
ABO incompatibility.. aku O+, hubby and rania A+
Rania was put under single phototherapy although her serum bilirubin was only 180 which is below photo level.
We return home the next day.

Tapi  kitorg still kena berulang alik ke KK penampang setiap hari to check for her SB.
Setiap kali check mesti rasa berdebar..berdoa setiap saat semoga SB turun.
Tapi tak turun2 jugak..240, 257, 268 and later on 284
When it reach above 280, we know that we have to spend another night in the ward.
I cried.. I really don't want to be admitted again.
Aku masih rasa sangat penat lepas bersalin.
Then kena berulang alik ke klinik with long waiting hours..
Rasa macam tak sanggup nak ke hospital pulak.
Masa ni, all I want is to spend time with hubby n rania at home and NOT in the ward.

Then hubby decide nk pegi private hospital..hoping that the ward will be much more comfortable.
Tapi sebenarnya sma je.. takde yang sama dgn rumah.
Kesian tegok Rania kena berbogel duduk dalam cot bawah lampu biru.
Kitorg yg adult dan berbaju ni pun rasa sejuk..apa lagi Rania yang masih baby dan tak bebaju.
Mula2 dia nak la duduk bawah lampu tu, lepas tu dia dh nages2 nak kitorg peluk dia je..kesian sangat..:(
bila dia dh refuse nak duduk dlm cot, we request to be discharged.
Apa guna lagi duduk hospital kalau Rania tak nak phototherapy.
So kitorang balik rumah..hoping that the SB will decrease naturally.

"Ibu, sejuk la..Nia xnak tido sini..sob sob.."

Alhamdulillah..SB Rania slowly reduce and we manage to rest at home.
By the time kitorg settle kt umah, hubby punya paternity leave pun habis..
Sian kat hubby, he only manage to rest at home for 1 day.
Apa2 pun, he's a great husband and dad
He's our HERO
